Eustace de Sousa

Eustace is the Deputy Director in the national team for Children, Young People and Families in Public Health England.

He has worked in roles across the private, voluntary and public sectors. His previous role was at NHS North West, responsible for overseeing child health outcomes.
He has advised Government as a member of the National Advisory Council for mental health, and has led a number of health programmes including ones on alcohol, school nursing and safeguarding.

Previous experience includes working for local authorities in regeneration, adult and children’s social care, and housing.
He is a trustee for Papyrus, the national charity working to prevent young suicides and a volunteer for a homeless project in Manchester.
