John Lomas

John works for Public Health England as a Senior Intelligence Analyst in the National Cardiovascular Intelligence Network (NCVIN). He has previously worked in public health intelligence roles for Calderdale Council and the NHS.

His main area of work is focused on diabetes intelligence and specifically official-statistics related to diabetic foot disease and lower-limb amputations. John holds degrees from Newcastle University and The University of Leeds in Public Health, with a focus on epidemiology. He is currently studying Public Health Data Science at University College London and is a member of the Government Statistical Service.
