Naomi Holman is Head of Health Intelligence for Diabetes within the National Cardiovascular Intelligence Network, Public Health England. This involves analysing routinely collated administrative data and presenting in an accessible way. Another aspect of Naomi’s work is identifying and closing gaps in data on diabetes care and outcomes in people with diabetes. This has included piloting methods for new national audits in inpatient care, diabetes in pregnancy and foot care for people with diabetes. She is currently developing the use of national audit data for research purposes.
