Neil McColl is the head of the Dosimetry Services Department at Public Health England’s Centre for Radiation, Chemical and Environmental Hazards. Before this Neil spent many years working in radiation emergency planning and took over responsibility for leading on radon issues in 2008. In 2013-14, Neil contributed to the regular 10 yearly review of the European Code Against Cancer (ECAC), focussing on what actions the individual can take to reduce their cancer risk from ionising radiation.
