Sonia has been the operational Director/Head of Unit since 2008 and leads the international work, strategy and programme implementation on behalf of the SDU.
Sonia trained as an Occupational Therapist in Oxford and worked as a clinician in Scotland, Switzerland, New Zealand and the Solomon Islands as well as several years as Associate and Deputy Director of Operations at Addenbrookes Hospital prior to joining the SDU.
